
GWRABA Celebrates the Area's Diverse Culinary Community through their Annual Restaurant Week
Roanoke, VA. March 5, 2026 -- The Greater Williamson Road Area Business Association (GWRABA) announced the official dates of the 2026 Restaurant Week on Williamson Road for March 17-24. This year’s event is proudly presented by lead sponsor HomeTrust Bank, with additional support from Appalachian Power –Take Charge Program, Kiwanis Club of Roanoke, and Branch Management Corp.
GWRABA is finalizing the list of participating restaurantsfor the weeklong celebration, which highlights the diverse traditional andinternational cuisine found throughout the Williamson Road corridor. The complete list of participating restaurants will be available at williamsonroad.org.
Executive Director, Valerie Brown, is excited about the celebration of Williamson Road restaurants. “Restaurant Week will showcase all the wonderful culinary experiences Williamson Road offers to the Roanoke Valley,” said Brown. “We encourage everyone to try some of the new restaurants that have opened in the last year while continuing to enjoy the signature classics.”
This year’s restaurant week will incorporate the popular Passport/Travel theme from previous years. As before, passport booklets,stamps, and promotional business cards will be used to encourage diners to“travel the road” and explore multiple restaurants.
GWRABA is also partnering with the Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport to offer a $500 travel voucher to the participant with the most qualifying stamps. Additionally, all passports returned at the end of the week to the GWRABA office or at a participating restaurant will be entered into three drawings for $50 gift certificates to their favorite Williamson Road corridor restaurant.
Restaurants are encouraging diners to experience their favorite spots in a new way or explore new restaurant options. Some returning restaurants include Hollywood’s Restaurant & Bakery, Lupita’s Tacos, Cuban Island Restaurant, A1 Afghan Restaurant and Grocery, and The Pine Room at Hotel Roanoke, to name just a few.
